Our Team
Kate Hennings, MA, NCC, LCPC,LPCMH, CI, CT
I am a Clinical Supervisor for LGPCs in Maryland and a Nationally Certified Sign Language Interpreter. Life can often feel overwhelming, especially when navigating conflict, negative thoughts, and emotions. My mission is to help you find genuine satisfaction and unlock your full potential. I specialize in supporting young adults and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. In our initial sessions, we’ll explore your personal history and its impact on your daily life. From there, we’ll collaborate on tailored strategies to help you feel better, building a treatment plan that’s centered on realistic goals.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a framework, integrating techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to teach effective coping skills and improve emotional regulation. If needed, I can also provide referrals for psychiatric care and medication management.
The connection between client and therapist is key to a successful therapeutic relationship. Finding the right therapist can be a challenge, which is why I’m happy to have an introductory phone call to answer your questions and help you decide if we’re a good.

Life is full of transitions and challenges, and no matter where we come from, we don’t have to face them alone. Whether you’re navigating a new career, becoming a parent, experiencing a move, managing relationships, or wanting to heal from brokenness and isolation, I would love to help. I believe that openness and vulnerability are key in overcoming these challenges, but understandably so, they can take time. We will explore your concerns in a way that helps you feel both heard and supported.
As an immigrant in the United States since 2001, I have experienced several changes and challenges that forged who I am. I lived and worked in different countries and environments that provided the sensitivity to understand and connect with several groups and cultures.
